Havre-Hill County Library
is a
Public
library funded by the city and the county. This library is the central site for the eleven-library system that serves the Hi- Line area located in north central Montana. This public library is handicapped accessible with public restrooms and study space including a meeting room. For more information contact Bonnie Williamson, Library Director/System Administrator.
Library services: Story time is held every Wednesday at 10:15 AM at the Library. Interlibrary loan, assistance on the computers, reference, reader advisory. Special collections are Montana, genealogy and large print.
Technology: The Hi-Line Shared Online Catalog and library automation system were established in 1996 and upgraded in March of 2005 using Horizon developed by SirsiDynix. This consortium of libraries has over 200,000 library records. Library cards are free and may be used in the libraries in the consortium. The libraries in the system are: Big Sandy Branch, Blaine County, Galata Elementary School, Harlem Public, Havre -Hill County, Havre High School, Havre Middle School, Highland Park School, Liberty County, Lincoln-McKinley School, and Sunnyside Schools.
